Ham Chatter

The Brightleaf Amateur Radio Club’s monthly newsletter was edited by Dave Langley, W4YDY, for the many years up to January 2021. BARC cannot thank Dave enough for all the hard work producing and sticking to a schedule putting out such a popular and interesting newsletter. Going forward, Mark Raysin, KG4GVJ, has taken over the editorship of the newsletter after the retirement of Dave. We will be looking forward to the new Ham Chatter! (Break a leg Mark!). Now a year later, Mark is “getting in the groove!” Congratulations and thanks for doing it!

Where shown, the call sign next to the month is the featured club member for the month with an article and most have pictures. (Any call signs next to future months are tentative. A “Meet the Members” Form can be downloaded.) (PDF) (Word Doc) If you have not been featured, please fill out the form and send a picture. The club would like to hear about your radio activities.

All issues of Ham Chatter are in PDF format. Download the PDF file and you can print an edition exactly as the version mailed out. Most file sizes are 400 to about 600 KB. The Acrobat PDF Reader is free from their web site.
